Explore the World of Woodpeckers at Malone Rec Park

A Wild Neighbors Nature Connection Young Naturalist Series for families with young people between ages of 8-11. The three-session Woodpecker Oneness program, based on Rich’s recently published book, Woodpecker Oneness Curriculum, aims to help participants notice important connections in our ecosystems through observations of woodpeckers and their habitats. This series includes opportunities for exploration, observation, games, and creative expression. While the three sessions are made to complement each other, you can participate in just one or two if you can’t make them all. Each session is from 3:00-5:00pm and gathering location is at the Duane Street Park Office.
