Paddle in a canoe or kayak to experience palm warblers, Lincoln's sparrows, and other boreal songbirds in the spruce and peatland habitats bordering the Osgood River.

About the event
Paddle 8 miles (4 out and 4 back) on the Osgood River which is bordered by beautiful spruce/fir forest and peatland along its length. We will experience palm warblers, Lincoln’s sparrows, and other boreal forest songbirds. $35/person. Payment can be made the day of; cash or check is preferred. Other options include PayPal and Venmo. Group size limited to 14. Registration does not include a kayak/canoe. If you do not have your own boat, Adirondack Lakes and Trails Outfitters is a very good boat rental in the town of Saranac Lake. Must have at least 5 people registered 1 week prior to the outing.
